Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in engineering (civil, architect, Electric, and Mechanical).
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering work experience in private or government sector, including at least 2 years in local or international NGOs.
• Experience in the logistics field is a plus.
• Good command of the English language.
• Sound knowledge of construction design.
• Superb project management skills (PMP is a plus).
• Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects.
• Written and oral communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of other professionals, such as construction managers, quantity surveyors, subcontractors, architects, designers, and other engineers.
• Commercial awareness - an understanding of how actions can affect the profitability of a project.
• Good IT skills and knowledge of engineering designing and drawing software (AutoCAD 2D-3D, MS Project or similar, Revit, ETABS).
Specific Vacancy Requirements
• Flexibility in working hours and ability to travel to rural areas.
• The duration of the announcement is one month, and it will be closed when we reach 120 applications as total pool received.

ZOA is an international NGO, which offers RELIEF to people who are affected by conflict or natural disasters. Together with the affected communities, we work on the RECOVERY until they can provide to take care of their livelihoods. The work of ZOA is coordinated from the Netherlands. ZOA has provided emergency relief to Syrians in Syria and neighbouring countries since 2014. After ZOA’s registration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in 2018, the organization established an office in Damascus in 2019. Since then, ZOA has been working with crisis affected communities across Livelihoods, WASH, Education and Shelter sectors. ZOA implements directly, as well as through local partners. ZOA seeks to reach the most vulnerable groups- women, children, elderly, female headed households, persons with disablities and internally displaced persons.
