Responsibilities
The purpose is to maintain WASH and Nutrition information management systems in NES during and after the WASH and Nutrition Working Group transition to the NES subnational coordination platforms.
Key functions, accountabilities, and related duties/tasks
1- Support and facilitate the inclusion and engagement of the relevant partner organizations in the subnational coordination platforms.
2- Support developing and using a unified subnational coordination information management system.
3- Active participation in the relevant coordination and information management meetings with partners, authorities and relevant stakeholders.
4- Provide IM support to the Subnational Coordinators to coordinate the projects between partners in communities and camps, avoiding overlapping and ensuring maximum integration.
5- Facilitate IM training for partners on the use of the Sectors 4Ws reporting system through the activity info platform.
6- Prepare the required data analysis to support monitoring the response at the subnational level based on the 4Ws system and ensure its alignment with the relevant national and international standards.
7- Provide the required data analysis for the response and gap analysis to identify the critical WASH/Nut needs and required responses in NES.
8- Contribute to the internal and external reporting requirements, including situation reports and midyear and end of year HRP progress reports.
9- Coordinate monthly reporting by following up with sector partners to ensure all required data is accurately submitted to ActivityInfo platform.
10- Support quarterly supply planning by assisting the subnational coordinator in preparing supply requests in line with sector SOPs and
11- Providing analysis comparing partner data with projected supply needs.
12- Contribute to emergency response efforts by collecting and consolidating data from sector partners for inclusion in Flash Updates, Situation Reports, and other humanitarian reporting products.
Qualifications
Education:
Computer Science, Data Management preferred or any technical degree or equivalent work experience
Specific Vacancy Requirements
Knowledge/Expertise/Skills required:
• Proved experience in managing datasets – Required: Excel, Activity Info,
• Asset: SQL
• Expertise in visualization software
• Required: Power BI, Powerpoint
• Good communication and team working skills, collaborative attitude
Languages: Competent in both Arabic and English
