Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Case Management Oversight
- Lead and oversee the implementation of the full case management cycle, including identification, assessment, planning, intervention, follow-up, and case closure.
- Provide technical guidance and support to case workers in line with GBV, Child Protection, and PSEA standards.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and confidential case documentation in accordance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
- Conduct regular case file reviews to ensure quality, compliance, and adherence to protection principles.
Team Supervision Capacity Building
- Supervise, mentor, and support case management staff to ensure effective, ethical, and survivor-centered service delivery.
- Facilitate regular case review meetings and provide constructive, solutions-oriented feedback.
- Identify capacity gaps and support staff development through coaching, on-the-job training, and targeted capacity-building initiatives.
Coordination Referral
- Establish and maintain safe, effective referral pathways in line with protection standards.
- Coordinate closely with service providers, partners, and community stakeholders to ensure holistic and comprehensive support to beneficiaries.
- Represent the organization in relevant coordination forums and technical working groups as required.
Reporting Compliance
- Contribute to the preparation of high-quality internal and donor reports related to protection and case management activities.
- Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality, accountability, and data protection standards.
- Support monitoring and evaluation efforts, including participation in field visits to ensure service quality and program effectiveness.
Accountability & Ethical Standards
- Promote accountability to affected populations, ensuring appropriate handling of feedback and complaints mechanisms.
- Uphold humanitarian principles, protection standards, and organizational ethical guidelines in all duties and interactions.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in protection and case management, preferably within humanitarian or development programs.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising and managing a case management team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Law, or a related field (Master degree is an asset).
- Strong knowledge of the case management cycle and protection standards, including GBV, Child Protection, and PSEA.
- Proven experience in case documentation and donor reporting requirements.
- Solid understanding of the Syrian context; familiarity with Aleppo is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and good working proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong commitment to confidentiality, safeguarding, accountability, and humanitarian principles.
