Responsibilities
-Directly responsible of all assigned procurement process at area level
-Ensure all procurement under his/her responsibility are processed as per priorities, as per NRC and Donors’ standards, as per requirements, and in a timely manner.
-Under guidance of Area Support Coordinator and in coordination with Country Office procurement coordinator; to support the development of framework agreements, national tendering process pre-qualification of suppliers, markets surveys, price lists, vendor databases.
-Liaise and coordinate with the relevant parties regarding delivery of supplies and keep them informed of any changes in a timely manner.
-Ensure that procurement reports are prepared and submitted on time to relevant stakeholders.
Prepare and develop procurement reports as required by both Area Office and Country Office
-Ensure the fleet is utilized and optimized accordingly in terms of safety and cost effectiveness.
-Handles the supporting documents for payments of car and taxis rentals, fuel, per diem, travel allowances.
-Update and maintain effective movement plans.
Acts as focal point for movement requests related to Aleppo Area Office
-Ensure all warehouse activities under his responsibility are processed as per priorities, as per NRC standards, as per requirements, and in a timely manner.
-Ensure that warehouse reports are prepared and submitted on time.
-Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing materials
Immediately report losses, damages or discrepancies
-Receives all new assets, records them in Excel or NRC System registers, ensures they are tagged and managed as per the standard operation procedure in place.
-Ensures physical stock counts of warehouses at least twice a year
-Ensures physical verifications of assets at least once a year

Qualifications
-Previous experience in logistics positions in the private and/or humanitarian/recovery contexts.
-Documented results in establishing and/or consolidating effective administrative systems.
-3-5 years’ experience in logistics, and 1 year in managerial position.
-Conversant with INGO and NGO programming (i.e. shelter, education etc.).
-Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile.
-Takes initiative, self-starter with great analytical skills
-Strong working knowledge of MS Office package.
-Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal.
-Bachelor degree relevant for the position or extensive experience in the logistics sector.

Finally, NRC promotes and sustains efforts at different levels to keep high the attention on the condition and situation of displaced and vulnerable people affected by ongoing crisis.
