Responsibilities
- Support the provision of services to beneficiary families
a) Assist with the initial assessment of potential beneficiaries, as required by the program coordinator.
b) Establish and regularly review family development plans (FDP) with each family to ensure children's essential survival and developmental needs are met in the short and long term and to ensure caregivers/families understand the aim of the program and contribute/work towards their self-reliance.
c) Organize and facilitate relevant services offered through the program, including such activities as caregivers capacity building in childcare, support groups, psycho-social support to the program beneficiaries and child recreational activities.

- Keep up-to-date information regarding beneficiaries and services provided
a) Establish a beneficiary filing system and keep up-to-date.
b) Fill/update the family strengthening program’s information system database.
c) Keep a record of all services and training provided.
d) Report on beneficiary/family progress and provide the necessary information needed for the program reporting

- Involve the community in the implementation of the program.
a) Build positive relationships with the community and/or local authorities.
b) Support the child welfare committee/community volunteers with training linked to the program's implementation.
c) Follow up and guide the community volunteers' work.

- Contribute to the realization of child rights in general as well as the development of the organization in this regard in particular.
a) Always put the interest of the child first
b) Take action or report to the adequate structure any child's rights violation cases
c) Keep track of child rights issues in general as well as current social development issues and trends relevant to the organization’s mission.

- Partnership building.
a) keeps regular contacts with service providers to ensure that services are provided according to objectives and actions agreed in the family development plan.
b) Advocates for the individual child and his/her family to have access to social entitlements or obtain needed services
c) Contributes to community development undertaken by the family strengthening program, I, e. organize/participate in awareness-raising activities, community mobilization events and capacity building of the community partners.
Knowledge Management
a) Supports the family strengthening program coordinator in documenting good practices, human touch stories.
b) Keeps regular track of latest developments in the social work area as well as changes in national legislation, policies, and practices related to children in the target group.


Qualifications
- University degree in (psychology)
- At least two years of direct working experience in social services
- Good knowledge of children rights
- Ability to negotiate and collaborate
- Ability to gather, analyse, evaluate and integrate important information
- Good computer skills.
- Read/write English.
- Driving license.
