Responsibilities
Support in Reporting and Management of Restricted Funds:
• Provide support to the Grants Compliance Manager, Funding Coordinator and programme teams in the development and submission of high quality project proposals to donors, including providing information on donor requirements and submission schedules.
• Provide effective coordination, with Oxfam GB and other Oxfam Affiliates colleagues at country/region/HQ level, for Grants reports submissions, overseeing scheduling of the report development process.
• Supports the Country Funding Coordinator with communications to donors and Oxfam affiliates, including responding to information requests and contract amendments.
• Supports the Grants Compliance Manager with quality control of funding processes and communications, recommending changes to processes, highlighting lessons learned and advising on risk management of grants;
• Responsible for archiving and updating shared folders (O drive, BOX) and preparing contract summaries of all grants.
• Support Grants Compliance Manager with managing the CRIMSON system as the main tool for donor contract management; maintaining up to date allocation, income, reporting and other contract records;
Support in Capacity Building:
• Working with the Grants Compliance Manager to design and implement capacity assessments and formal and informal training for programme teams and partners on reporting and proposal development. This may include coaching and accompaniment including required support to field based staff and partner organisations;
• Develop tools/materials to support programme teams for reporting and proposal development


Qualifications
Essential:
• Relevant experience of 2 yrs and knowledge of managing funds
• Well developed report writing skills and experience of financial/budget review and analysis.
• Sound skills in capacity building in relation to report and proposal writing and programme development;
• Self-motivated, target-driven and an entrepreneurial approach to fundraising opportunities;
• A team player with highly developed interpersonal, influencing and relationship skills;
• Experience of managing web based shared folders (e.g. Dropbox)
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal (English);
• Good administrative and numerical skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to manage her/his time effectively. Willing and able to adapt priorities in order to respond to changing demands.

Desirable:
• Good understanding of Middle Eastern political context;
• Arabic language skills
• Existing understanding of Oxfam’s fundraising and contract management systems and procedures.
