Responsibilities
1) Planning support:
-Collect and review existing studies, assessment and data related to rural development and climate smart agricultural livelihoods at the local level;
-Support the in conducting community-based needs assessment, including mapping and assessment of key stakeholders, assessing risks and resources related to rural development and climate smart agriculture
2) Implementation and monitoring support:
-Support in developing annual workplans and implementation plans of rural development mainstreaming climate change adaptation initiatives in the target areas;
- Support in developing initiatives for relevant initiatives;
- Support in capturing monitoring indicators;
3) Knowledge management and networking
- Establish working relationships with key stakeholders at the governorate and municipal levels
-Support the Team Leader for Livelihoods and Economic Recovery in developing communication materials including human interest stories, audio-visual products, as well as key messages reflecting the
implementation on the ground

Qualifications
- A Bachelor degree in Agricultural Engineering, Economy especially Micro EconomyDevelopment studies, or other related fields.
OR
-A Master degree in Agricultural Engineering, Economy especially Micro Economy
development studies, and other related fields.
-Excellent command of Arabic and English in both oral and written

-Excellent command of Arabic and English in both oral and written
Specific Vacancy Requirements
BA with 5 years of operational relevant experience. Experience in the field of socio-economic recovery is an asset.

Master with 4 years of operational relevant experience. Experience in the field of socio-economic recovery is an asset.
