- In-charge all environment, health and safety specific within all kitchens, restaurants, bars, housekeeping and staff outlets (Staff Food area & staff locker rooms)
-As an Environmental Health and Safety Officer you are responsible for the conformity with all Syrian Municipality, federal and local sanitation, food safety, health and safety and environmental requirements where as your role involves the implementation of HACCP programs and will include key responsibilities.
1. Conduct & regularly review risk assessment for all areas in the hotel, implement site specific control measures to minimize hazards
2. Monitor / identify relevant changes in EHS / HACCP local regulations and laws and update the internal procedures, policies and forms accordingly
3. Drive improvement and track goals achievement through collection, analysis and communication of EHS goals and measurements
4. Ensure that the employees are trained on the basic EHS awareness training identified for their departmental operations
5. Develop Environmental Health and Safety & HACCP manuals and review annually or less if required
6. Develop and implement effective programs for protecting the environment and for maintaining, enhancing, and fostering a "zero incident" safety culture in the Hotel
7. Establish audit requirements to ensure compliance in Food Safety, Occupational Safety and Environmental regulations.
8. Participate in accident investigation and document root cause. Communicate results and set corrective actions required to prevent reoccurrence
9. Ensure that the employees are trained on the basic EHS awareness training identified for their departmental operations
10. Ensure that the suppliers/contractors are complying with the EHS & HACCP local standards through audits and communications
11. Report to sector regulatory authority monthly and /or quarterly performance and hotel progress in implementing EHS management system
12. Monitor / identify relevant changes in EHS/HACCP local regulations and laws and update the internal procedures, policies, and forms accordingly
13. Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests' and employees' health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
14. Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures Skills

1- College degree preferably specializing in nutrition, or equivalent experience is required.
2- Experience required by position is from two to three years
3- Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
