Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of Health & Nutrition Officers and with technical support and guidance from C4D unit at country office, the Technical Facilitator will:

1.Support and ensure the availability of accurate, complete and up-to-date social mobilization micro-plans for C4D integrated campaigns in Deir-ez-Zor.
2.Co-ordinate C4D and Health management activities with Governorate health office (DOH), WHO, NGOs and other teams working at district and community levels.
3.Support collection, analysis and sharing of data for C4D and health related programs.
4.Ensure quality implementation of communication (especially house to house visits, awareness sessions and influencer’s meetings) and other persuasive communication techniques for C4D integrated campaigns.
5.Support the selection/recruitment of community workers/ mobilizers and facilitate their training/orientations.
6.Supervise the community mobilizers and provide them with needed support to perform their social mobilization tasks.
7.Prepare dissemination plans for IEC materials, liaise with partners for timely dissemination for C4D campaign IEC materials.
8.Support the compilation of timely intra campaign data and the process of Post campaign data collection.
9.Collate behavioral surveillance of negative perceptions, attitudes and groupings that adversely affect utilization and demand of services.
10.Analyze collected data and information on the immunization refusals in Deir-ez-Zor and prepare plans to address the reasons behind these refusals.
11.Prepare social mobilization budgets for campaigns and any other C4D related activities.
12.Prepare a monthly work plan of activities in support of C4D integrated activities and any Health campaigns.
13.Provide activity-based reports using reporting formats on time to the Organization office in Deir-ez-Zor and Damascus.
14.Promote knowledge sharing and prepare needed inputs from Deir-ez-Zor for Sitreps and donors report whenever needed.
15.Undertakes regular field visits to monitor Health and nutrition projects/programmes, C4D integrated initiatives, immunization activities, emergency response, intervention and needed assessment in all locations in Deir-ez-Zor of responsibility and share filed monitoring reports.
16.Support implementation of C4D intervention for other programmes as whenever required. Support Qamishli and Deir-ez-Zor Organization offices to facilitate payments of campaigns participants as per protocols.


Qualifications

1.University degree in medical or social science (preferably Public Health/Health education) with 3 years of progressively responsible work in community development, of which at least one year is closely related to implementation of programme activities.
2.Knowledge of English and Arabic are mandatory.
3.Excellent skills on Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint).
4.Ability to work in multinational environment.
5.Ability to perform under pressure.
