Responsibilities
(1)Undertake field visit to Camps with specific task assigned by Child Protection Office in Qamishli and provide technical oversight and guidance to the child protection partners/programs especially related to the alternative care arrangements and Case management, and PSS programs, and provide time feedback on the task accompanied with required reporting.
(2)Identify capacity and technical gaps of the implementing partners and provide technical support including onsite training to partners to ensure the implementation is in line with child protection planned programs.
(3)Carry out needs assessments and gather technical information and data that will help to plan and develop the ongoing programme and implementation.
(4)Undertakes regular field visits to monitor projects/programmes. Field monitoring
(5)Undertakes regular situation monitoring in specific areas based on specific requests, to assess the overall situation and any unmet needs in particular of women and children in these areas.
(6)Assessing project/programme implementation according to the PCA (Programme Cooperation Agreement) or SSFA (Small-Scale Funding Agreement), corporate contracts;
(7)Verification of supplies delivered, any delays and bottlenecks;
(8)Post-distribution monitoring of supplies to assess the beneficiaries’ views in terms of quality, timeliness and relevance of supplies delivered.
(9)Within 5 days following the field visit the facilitator produces a field trip report according to the standard format and submits the report to the respective Chief of Field Office or hiring manager for further dissemination and action by the relevant persons.
(10)Monitors the overall performance of project/programme implementation and validates the data in the progress reports prepared by implementing partners. Reports any actual or potential deviation from implementation plans.
(11)Coordinates if required with implementing partners, in consultation with the respective ORGANIZATION Chief of Field Office or his/her delegate.


Qualifications
a)EDUCATION
- University degree in a field related to the scope of work.
b)WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least three to five years of progressively responsible relevant work experience in project/programme management, monitoring and reporting. Experience in collecting and compiling quantitative and qualitative data is an asset.
- Experience working in a humanitarian context is an asset.
- Experience working with UN or NGO programmes/projects is an asset.

c)LANGUAGES
- Fluency both verbal and written in English, Arabic is an asset. Local language of the area where the facilitator is to be stationed is essential.


Specific Vacancy Requirements
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyse diverse and complex information from a wide range of sources to make analytical statements to inform decision-making.
- Good report writing skills.
- Capacity to work in an emergency context under stressful conditions and strict deadlines.
• Good communication and networking skills, including the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams as well as establishing and maintaining close working relationships with a variety of implementing partners and counterparts at different levels.
- Good computer skills, including experience with various software applications.
