1. Negotiate with bad debt customers the settlement of their dues through phone call and meeting in Syriatel offices.
2. Persuade bad debt customers to reactivate their disconnected lines after settling their dues.
3. Recommend solutions that optimize the bad debt recovery process.
4. Implement bad debt recovery roadmap, prepared by Debt Collection Head of Section.
5. Nominate the names of bad debt customers to be published in newspaper or to be handled legally according to the preset criteria.
6. Record the new actions related to following up of bad debt recovery on credit collection management system (CCMS) to ensure updated and accurate database.
7. Collect information about bad debt customers that helps in recovering their bad debt dues using information resources tools as (billing system, Syrian phone directory, etc...).
8. Seek for extra professional negotiation with person who can lead to the bad debt customer through search process.
9. Call the bad debt the customers to inform them before publishing their names in newspaper announcement for bad debt customers.
10. Offer solutions and payment facilities to the bad debt customer when applicable to solve a problem facing the customer and register a complaint when needed on the related system to be followed up by Service Desk Unit.
11. Coordinate with POS Unit and Credit & Collection Analysis Section to facilitate customer’s request for bill installment and customer’s relative request to suspend the bad debt line after getting the needed approvals.
