Responsibilities
As part of the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Unit, Field Monitors will be responsible for the monitoring of project activities. These activities include: beneficiary verification, distribution and monitoring of cash transfers, as well as conducting post-distribution monitoring visits, supporting additional surveys and assessments, and submitting routine reports. The Field Monitors will be part of a Monitoring & Evaluation team that works to ensure that information collected is reflected upon, used to improve ongoing programs, and is incorporated into consistently high-quality reports and project development. Most project activities will be in close coordination with the local partner and local authorities.

- Assist in data collection, including household-level assessment, distribution and post-distribution monitoring and other surveys and assessments as needed.
- Support the overall monitoring of program activities, follow established M&E protocols.
- Participate in implementing monitoring plans in coverage area including site visits.
- Monitor in-kind distributions to ensure that intended materials are distributed to registered beneficiaries and as scheduled.
- Verify distribution figure and information
- Submit reports on distribution/activities monitoring result, challenges faced and lessons learned
- Record and document beneficiary/community feedback, in line with Community Feedback protocols
- Submit all monitoring results, assessment results, survey results to database staff.
- Ensure proper handling and movement of any project monitoring, assessment, and survey files
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- university degree in an area of engineering, social affairs, public administration, business administration, IT or any related area
- Willingness and ability to perform field work.
- Experience in community work and/or experience in project implementation, preferably with an NGO/INGO, UN or donors.
- Excellent personal skills like self-management, self-efficacy and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated skills in planning, organizing, analyzing and reporting.
- Ability to interact effectively with international and national personnel, as well as with project partners and community members.
- Good computer skills of Microsoft Office features Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Good written and spoken language skills in Arabic and English, French or German is an advantage.
- Ability to work and interact with a diverse staff from different ethnicities and backgrounds.
- Ability to conduct oneself with sensitivity and respect toward others.
- Knowledge on design and project management programs is an asset
