Responsibilities
1. Prepare the monthly financial raw data file which includes monthly income statement and revenue details generated from Oracle Trial Balance and includes customers count provided from the billing systems through the Marketing.
2. Coordinate on monthly basis with concerned departments to aggregate all required statistical figures for Syriatel fact sheet, such as sites counts, revenue components and employees’ counts.
3. Prepare on monthly basis the income statement and fact sheet, compared with previous periods and budget of the same year, along with the variances resulted from the comparison.
4. Prepare the narrated report for the monthly income statement and fact sheet with high level interpretations for the trends of basic performance financial KPIs.
5. Prepare on a quarterly basis the statistical analysis for Syriatel operations including customers, ARPU (Average Revenue per User), minutes and sales.
6. Prepare on a quarterly basis the organization financial ratios (profitability, stability, liquidity and solvency), which reflect the organization financial performance
7. Prepare the quarterly Comprehensive Financial Reports for Syriatel Board review based on the analysis of Syriatel operations, in addition to the results of analyzed Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
8. Conduct a financial comparison report to highlight the organization financial situation with competitors.
9. Import raw data related to operational expenses and Balance Sheet items , coordinate with Accounting team to get Transactions source Files and validate the imported raw data along with source files against Trial Balance.
10. Prepare detailed analyses reports for operational expenses to reflect financial and non-financial (Liter, Quantity…etc..) indicators, horizontally and vertically.
11. Coordinate with Accounts Receivable Section and Revenue Assurance Unit to obtain detailed revenue raw data, for farther analyses.
12. Prepare detailed revenue analyses reports to reflect revenue trend per (product, offer, POS, dealer, etc.. ) in order to help the Management to evaluate organization actual performance.
13. Prepare detailed analyses reports for balance sheet items on a monthly basis, horizontally and vertically.
14. Contribute to evaluation models for Syriatel financial position Upon management request
15. Assist in highlighting any deviation or abnormal practice when discovered after assessing the raw data to Accounting Unit to enhance the adequacy of financial data resulted from accounting transactions.
16. Assist in the process of Syriatel strategic financial analysis pertaining to long term plans and financial risk identifications.
17. Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
18. Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and team work.
19. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System

Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting is required.
2. Experience: 3 years of Finance / Accounting experience are required.
3. Professional Certification: CMA / SCPA are a plus.
