Under the supervision of the Organization, the Field Monitor will be performing the following tasks:
• In close consultation with ORGANIZATION, facilitate coordination of service provision and other defined activities in settlements, urban and rural settings in Northeast Syria.
• Monitor, evaluate and measure impact of ORGANIZATION programs implemented directly by ORGANIZATION or through partners against the set baselines and indicators as per guidance and SOPs provided by ORGANIZATION
• Collect feedback from the persons of concern on the general services, assistance provided, basic needs and their general situation and convey it to ORGANIZATION focal point
• Build good relationships with all actors present in the area, including community leaders, to facilitate networking and information gathering that could enhance the humanitarian assistance provided
• Serve as entry point for ORGANIZATION visit into new geographic locations and provide mission support.
• Upon request and guidance from ORGANIZATION focal point, attend meetings with local authorities and other stockholders and report back to ORGANIZATION.
• Prepare different type of reports as request (services mapping, qualitative, weekly, monthly, graphic representation …, etc.)
• Facilitators will prepare analytical report on the information gathered in accordance with the established weekly work plans.
• Conduct field visits to locations of displacement and prepare situation reports as requested by ORGANIZATION.
• Provide recommendations on the improvement of services and suggestions for new intervention.
• Upon request from ORGANIZATION, support the partners to conduct NFIs distribution and other activities
• Upon request from ORGANIZATION, liaise with authorities and other stockholders to coordinate NFIs distribution plan and implementation.
• Perform other tasks as required by ORGANIZATION.

Education:
Secondary School
WORK EXPERIENCE
• At least four years of progressively responsible relevant work experience
• Experience working in a humanitarian context is an asset (UN or NGO programmes/projects)
LANGUAGES
• Fluency in Arabic, and preferably good knowledge of written and oral English.
