Responsibilities
Under its program to support PWDs towards disability inclusion, UNDP has been contributing to support in filling in the gaps of lack of services. UNDP is planning to support the provision of comprehensive prosthetic services to people in need in the southern areas of Dara'a and Quneitra, the technical officer should be responsible for the attainment of the following:
1- Technical oversight on all project activities including develop all needed ToRs for services and monitor on the quality of delivered services.
2- Provide comprehensive technical support in planning and implementation of disability unit’s projects in the field related to Physical rehabilitation of Persons with disabilities with special focus on prosthetic projects in Damascus, Dara'a and Quneitra.
2. Support in the development of project proposals with partners in the field of physical rehabilitation
3. Conduct monitoring and evaluation tasks on the progress, efficiency and compliance of relevant projects including submitting of M&E and technical reports.
4. Evaluate the progress of projects in the field against signed project documents
5. Provide remote and on-site technical support for ongoing relevant projects. This task may require traveling to governorates.
6. Provide technical support on market survey and study; and the development of technical specifications for procurement of items related to physical rehabilitation projects.
7. Provide technical support on the evaluation of offers in response to procurement of good related to physical rehabilitation projects.
8. Follow-up technically on inquiries and dialogue with partners from governmental and non-governmental sectors
9. Provide support in conducting assessments and studies on the situation of physical rehabilitation services in the country
10. Contribute to knowledge sharing and investigation of innovative solution in the physical rehabilitation field.

Qualifications
- Diploma in health science in the field of prosthetics.
- Excellent command of Arabic and English
- Excellent command of Arabic and English
Specific Vacancy Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience in physical rehabilitation services
- Ability to travel and conduct mission to project sites in governorates.
