• Assist North East Syria ( NES) coordinator in procure all materials and equipment ordered by the projects in Hassakeh, and Qamishli in a cost-effective and transparent manner in line with TDH-IT and donor specific policies and procedures, in coordination with related project managers
• Liaise with the finance department regarding the payments to suppliers.
• Constantly coordinate with TDH-IT’s Administrator in Syria regarding supporting documents and procedures implementation.
• Support the logistic department in Damascus office in obtaining quotes and estimation prices in the field (Hassakeh, Qamishly, or other governorates as needed) Under the supervision of NES Coordinator.
• Prepare and submit progress and status reports to the project coordinator and project manager
• Archive, file, and keep soft & hard copies of all Logistics documentation (Photocopying and scanning of documents).
• Responsible of follow up, prepare the relevant documents (paperwork) for the procurement process of goods and services from the point of planning to the point of payment, referring to field Coordinator and Administrator as needed (prepare request for quotations, Purchase orders/contracts, Way Bills and Receipt of Goods, Good received notes, payments).
• Constantly search the market for new suppliers that may provide better service or value for money for TDH-IT.
• Support the logistic department in Damascus office in complete the inventory list, Asset Report, Equipment Inventory documentation, prepare Equipment Handover Received Forms for staff, and make relevant updates continuously under the supervision of the NES Coordinator.
• Responsible for receiving and check goods, service or work, and follow up maintenance in the field (Hassakeh, Qamishli, or other governorates as needed).
• Facilitate booking transportation services to and from the area of intervention or other governorates as needed.
• Liaise with shipping and transporting companies; oversee, and control shipping and delivery of purchased goods, equipment, and supplies, as well as their customs clearance and insurance (where required).
• Other duties as may be assigned by the Coordinator and management in Damascus office as needed.


• Intermediate Institute degree or equivalent in Business Administration or a relevant subject.
• At least two years related professional experience.
• Very Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge and usage of MS Office programs.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Quick learner with practical, precise approach.
• Good numerical, report writing and administration skills.
• Ability to resolve problems efficiently and team-working spirit.
• Time management and organization skills.
• Ideally, you will also have previous similar experience with INGOs or UN Agencies and Logistics
