Responsibilities
The Mine education Expert will be supervised by the social cohesion field officer and will receive regular guidance from the Social Cohesion Team Leader to fulfill the following tasks:
- Coordinated with project stakeholders and community partners about the project activities.
- Take stock of previous mine risk education activities in order to establish a baseline for the project activities.
- Design mine risk education programmes in consultation with the project team.
- Conduct mine risk education activities using innovative approaches for reaching all segments of the society.
- Coordinate with other UN agencies and NGOs for further mine risk education campaign through their established programme.
- Perform mine risk assessment in order to inform future mine risk education programming.

- Excellent networking and coordination skills.
- Professional level in both Arabic & English language skills.
- Excellent reporting and formal writing skills in both English & Arabic.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and within a team.
- Ability to start working immediately.
- Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability
- Professional level in both Arabic & English language skills.
- Excellent reporting and formal writing skills in both English & Arabic.

Specific Vacancy Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree from recognized university, with not less than 3 years of professional experience in project management, preferably with experience in working with NGOs
