Overview of the Role
The Field officershouldassist during the preparation, implementation and monitoring of the distribution processes carried out in the framework of the INTERSOS winterization programme carried out in coordination with SARC.
Tasks and Main Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation of distributions by attending meetings with SARC CRI programme referents and meeting with INTERSOS referents;
• Participate to all the distributions carried out by joining the SARC team;
• Support in the information collection on the distribution activities;
• Supporting in ensuring that protection is mainstreamed during the distribution;
• Support in overseeing the distribution process in order to report any relevant feedback provided by beneficiaries or by SARC volunteers or staff;
• Support in checking per each distribution the initial stock and the final stock of items;
• Ensure a smooth and prompt communication flow with her/his INTERSOS supervisor in case any challenge is identified;
• Ensure adherence to INTERSOS policies, guidance and procedures at field level;
• Provide distributionsreport as per INTERSOS template;
• Conduct Post Distribution Monitoring(PDM) exercise following the instruction of her/his INTERSOS supervisors and in coordination with SARC;
• Ensure to enhance own capacity building by identifying need to immediate supervisor;
• Implement other tasks as might be required by the line manager with relation to the INTERSOS Country Program in Syria.

Qualifications and Qualities
• Minimum 2 years of relevant and proven experience in distributions in humanitarian contexts;
• Experienced in emergency settings;
• Advanced skills to prioritize among multiple tasks;
• Good capacity to cooperate with other staff and colleagues;
• Advanced IT skills (advanced knowledge of Office package, skilled in ITC)
• Flexibility and patience highly appreciated;
• Good communication, able to work in English and Arabic (verbal and written).
• Proven work experience with other NNGO or INGOis an advantage.
