•Manage a team of protection officers by providing daily support to supervision.
•Post the daily schedules, rules and regulations and Code of Conduct for the staff.
•Report supply/material needs to the QS
•Support M&E activities as requested to support quality programming & Reporting
•Ensure regular communication with the protection officer for updates on achievements and challenges
•Monitor the attendance of officers
•Attend cluster/working groups meetings , and provide report in monthly basis.
•Provide monthly report to QS Amman team.
•Follow up on the implementation of Activity cycle plan.
•Conduct regular visit to QS stakeholder in Syria.
•Provide regular update to QS Amman team.
•Adhere to referral pathways for each specialized programme depending on the available services and the survivors’ need
•Establish a mapping of external actors providing services to beneficiaries in the areas of operations and ensure the referral pathways are understood by all programme staff working on GBV and CP
•Ensure regular communication with the protection officer for updates on achievements and challenges.
•Provide technical support to and identify opportunities for the development of relevant advocacy and communication /information materials to address gender (in) equality issues.
•Raising key issues of concern related to protection to the Field Front Office through the adequate channels; Advises on Protection perspectives in all aspects of the work of the departments, using own resources or outside expertise; coordinates with the departments to assure gender equality in overall objectives
•Regularly follow up on activity start up and implementation
•Compile and prepare quality weekly, monthly and periodic reports on QS activities to be shared with Amman based team
•Maintain program files ensuring adherence to data security protocols
•Act as supply chain focal point and ensure the center is fully equipped and has the supplies and resources

•University degree in social sciences, law, social work, international development, or other relevant field from a recognized institution.
•3 - 6 years of program management experience on issues relating to violence against women and girls, gender and development, child protection or social change1 year managing a staff.
•Clear understanding of gender inequality, and issues of violence against women and girls including demonstrated belief in gender equality and enthusiastic commitment to the safety and empowerment of women and children
•Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients at all times essential.
•Positive and professional attitude, able to organize, maintain composure and prioritize work under pressure, coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
•Ability to work as a member of a team essential.
•Must be computer literate, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
•Fluency in Arabic
•Ability to communicate in English
•Demonstrated ability to engage community and work with local stakeholders such as local authorities, health service providers and NGOs
•1 year demonstrated experience with managing and supporting staff.
•Ensure close collaboration with partners, including other INGOS/CBOs in area of operations in order to establish and maintain adequate referrals and build capacity on GBV prevention and response and CP.
•Participate in regular meetings, reviews and activity planning with Amman based staff.
•Ensure regular communication with Amman based IRC WPE Team, serving as focal point for the Women’s Center
•Work with Amman based M&E coordinator to ensure best practice use of information management and data collection tools
