Responsibilities
1- Implement Medair Basic Need Assistance project with guidance from AM:
• In compliance with Basic Needs Assistance SoPs, and in coordination with AM and technical officer contribute to distribution plan (identify Items and technical specifications, estimate quantity, potential areas, tentative dates).
• Support Initial assessment or RNA in potential location.
• Initiate and do all preparation for house to house assessment & registration
• Field team leader for all House-to-House assessment & registration Activities) Supervise, support and guide assessment and HH registration team (.
•Ensure preparedness for assessment phase (tablets, coupons, coordinat ion, visibility items, hibernation, etc.)
• Help and support the Logistic Assistant in Distribution - delivery of items.
• Do and help in all Post distribution – administration/ Reporting & Review tasks that related to assessment & registration and distribution.
• As per Basic Needs Assistance SoPs, Act as a AAP focal point by recording all beneficiary feedbacks using the approved ODK form, and channel the recorded feedback to Protection Officer to follow-up with beneficiaries accordingly.
• As per Basic Needs Assistance SoPs and In coordination with IMO, Manage, update and control HH Capons disseminated to enumerators.

2-Data Management & Entry:
• Working in collaboration with the officers in the base to collate, clean and enter into ODK/databases/tables data for Programme activities.
• Providing practical training for temporary data enumerators in collaboration with Programme team
• Be responsible for data accuracy and data cleaning under the direct supervision of Area Manager.
• Implementing beneficiary data protection protocols.
• in collaboration with the officers ,Help the Area Managers in accurate and timely reporting of activities for internal and external reports (e.g. monthly, quarterly and final reports) as requested by DCO, HQ and donors.

3- Programme Support:
• In collaboration with the officers, help the Area Manager in Context analysis and Planning.
• In collaboration with the officers, help the Area Manager Project Assessment and Planning.
• Assisting with filing systems for Programme/Base Activities, and with archiving, in accordance with Medair policy and donor requirements, including follow up with other departments for any missing documents.
• Photocopying and scanning of all Programme/Base documents and letters and managing an electronic filing system in accordance with Box regulations.
• Assist in liaison functions e.g. local delivery of documents, follow-up of letters or applications at DOH/DoWr or SARC
•Making arrangements for trainings and team events.
• Schedules appointments and meetings for Programme/Base Activities.
•Attends meetings (if required) and takes minutes.
4- Security:
• Act as a field security focal point during assessment and distribution activities
•General awareness of security procedures and guidelines in place.
• Attends all Security meetings (if required) and takes .
• Report any security-related incidents or risks/threats to the main Security Focal Point (SFP).
• Help the Area Manager In completing the Movecrite Document and all Security Reports.

4- Representation & Communication
• Represent Medair while coordinate basic needs assistance activity at community level: local SARC, Municipality, relevant authority, community leaders, etc.
• Maintain a transparent, honest and supportive communication structure with colleagues to ensure they are kept informed for Programme activities and requirements.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with Team members, All Stakeholders, other NGOs and ensuring good co-operation and partnerships.
5- Quality Management
• Promote and use the Medair e-library and other operating procedures, ensuring that all standardised formats are used and guidelines are followed




Qualifications
1- Essental:

• Intermediate institute in relevant subject (e.g. Management, Science, IT) or equivalent professional / technical qualification.
• 1 year previous INGO experience
• Experience using data for reporting purposes
• Experience in use of tablets &smartphones and associated software.
• Experience in carrying out Management and leadership tasks.
• Excellent English (spoken and written).
• Excellent Arabic (spoken and written).
• Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and basic knowledge of Word and Outlook.
• Problem solving ability.
• Aptitude, willingness and ability to learn programming, data analysis and data management packages that are not familiar.

2- Desirable:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject (e.g. Management, Science, IT) or equivalent professional / technical qualification.
• Previous experience with Basic Need Assistance.
• Willingness to improve language skills, spoken and written, and particularly in report-writing.
• Experience using ODK.
• Intermediate computer programming skills.
• Ability to use Ms. Office.

This is a position based in Der AL-Zor with periodic field visits (subject to staff safety procedures and movement approvals). Project locations currently include Rural Aleppo Damascus, Hama Homs,Der Ez-Zor, Governorates Raqaa, Idlep (subject to staff safety procedures and movement approvals).

Working week is usually 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday 8:30 - 16:30.

This position requires flexibility at times. Travel might be required to Lebanon/Jordan/Switzerland for training or meetings.

Planned start date: As Soon As Possible.

Salary and Benefits
We offer an interesting job with Medair and competitive remuneration. We will offer the successful applicant a six months contract on current projects inclusive of 3 months' probation period, renewable dependent on both performance and funding for subsequent projects. .

You must be available to start work As Soon As Possible. Candidate should be willing and able to work in Der AL-Zor, Rural Der AL-Zor, Homs,Derand Aleppo and undertake field visits to other governorates (subject to movement approval).
