IC&I is looking for local consultancy contractor "Program Coordinator GBV" to support UNFPA programme implementation based in Aleppo:
Assist-in start-up activities for new women’s centers, including liaising with key
community leaders.
Ensure that Women’s Center activities for women and girls run according to minimum standards, best practices and are culturally relevant and appropriate.
Oversee the daily operations of the women’s center including outreach events, activities planning, and facilitators schedule.
Together with supervisor, develop a schedule & work plan for each women’s center.
Assist in regular data collection, analysis, and reporting on women’s center activities for field sites.
Participating in and contributing to the HNO and impact assessment by Implementing FGD, Key informant interviews and provide inputs for the HRP/SRP.
Maintain active and consistent lines of communication at the field-site between UNFPA other Protection actors, NFI, WASH, Health and Mental Health activities/projects to ensure smooth and effective coordination in service provision as per action plans and planned interventions.
Assist in organizing and delivering training events as assigned per supervisor.
Represent the organization with community leaders and other stakeholders and develop working relationships and engagement in activities.
Participate in the program development and recommendations as required.
Work closely with the Women’s Center supervisors and communities to ensure that community-based engagement activities are relevant and appropriate to the context.
Provide technical and managerial support to site-supervisor and facilitators to ensure efficient functioning of the Women’s centers.
Assists in the development of a community outreach strategy, including an information dissemination campaign on available services, and a social norms change intervention that seeks to promote a safer environment for women and girls.
Regular engagement with the community, particularly community leaders and other to be identified stakeholders to promote buy-in for the intervention as well as gather feedback.
Oversee testing and piloting of key messages and related IEC materials.
Documenting success stories and communicate it to the communication team.
Ensure activities according to minimum standards, best practices, and IASC Guidelines.
Participate in the program development and recommendations as required.
Complete, maintain validity and participate in all security trainings as prescribed by the UNFPA and duty station specific requirements.
Any other related tasks assigned by supervisors.
Deliverables (Main Task):
Monthly plans for all centers have to be delivered monthly with list of identified needs to accomplish tasks of the centers.
Field visit reports after each visit
Monthly reports for activities, the report must include the main achievements of the project (based on the set indicators), key challenges and lessons learnt.
Quarterly progress reports and final report. the report must include the main
achievements of the project (based on the set indicators), key challenges and lessons learnt.
Provide Monthly Data verification for activities with partners.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in social studies, or any relevant degree and/or other related fields. With 7 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the public or private sector; previous experience in a humanitarian project;
- Or Master degree in social studies, or any relevant degree and/or other related fields with 5 years of relevant experience in the public or private sector; previous experience in a humanitarian project s;
- Experience with UN is preferable.
Language Requirements:
Fluent written and spoken Arabic( mother tongue) and English.
Computer:
Knowledge of Microsoft office program is required
- Bachelor’s degree in social studies, or any relevant degree and/or other related fields. With 7 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the public or private sector; previous experience in a humanitarian project;
- Or Master degree in social studies, or any relevant degree and/or other related fields with 5 years of relevant experience in the public or private sector; previous experience in a humanitarian project s;
- Experience with UN is preferable.
