IC&I is looking for local consultancy contractor "Program Coordinator RH" to support UNFPA programme implementation based in Qamishli:
Support the overall design and implementation of the office work plan by coordinating RH programme implementation at field level.
Identify humanitarian needs and gaps in the response, and propose lines of action to address RH needs of population in need.
Maintain a close working relationship in the field with the relevant government officials to ensure appropriate communication and coordination.
Coordinate with local partners and LNGOs to ensure the optimal RH project implementation.
Actively assist networking of different local partners particularly those focusing on RH , identifying new potential partners and areas of collaboration.
Intensively work in promotion of UNFPA in Hassakeh Governorate and ensure its visibility, in particular in the field of RH.
Provide inputs to the communication team including human interest stories and data for the Strips.
Support the capacity building of implementing partners specially LNGOs on project implementation and reporting.
Conduct field visits with the aim to improve the humanitarian response and propose/implement corrective measures as needed. Identify needs on the ground and areas of intervention for UNFPA.
In close coordination with the Field Programme Coordinator, Implementing Partners and relevant staff of UNFPA in the Damascus office, undertake regular field visits in support of monitoring the project implementation on RH, and if need be to support GBV and youth projects and provide regular feedback on project implementation and emerging/changing needs.
Regularly update the CO on the developments on the ground and provide required report including through establishing, consolidating and maintaining a 4w database.
Follow up with the implementation of the donor funded (mobile-outreach funded-training and workshops, among others).
Assess the needs and undertake data collection for RH and GBV services and inform UNFPA regularly.
Submit weekly work plan with the IPs to the supervisor.
Submit monthly progress reports and final report through email including key achievements, challenges and lessons learnt.
Participate in staff meetings or meetings with IPs either in person or through skype.
Support Qamishly field missions of UNFPA staff.
Any other tasks that is required by direct supervisor.

Education:
- Advanced degree in Reproductive Health and Public Health Management.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Reproductive Health and Public Health Management and/or other related fields. With 7 years of relevant working experience, preferably in program/project implementation and/or other related fields;
- Or Master degree in Reproductive Health and Public Health Management and/or other related fields. With 5 years relevant working experience, preferably in program/project implementation and/or other related fields.
- Proven spirit of initiative and ability to work independently.
Languages:
Native speaker of Arabic with excellent oral and written skills, and strong written and oral English skills required.
- Advanced degree in Reproductive Health and Public Health Management.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Reproductive Health and Public Health Management and/or other related fields. With 7 years of relevant working experience, preferably in program/project implementation and/or other related fields;
- Or Master degree in Reproductive Health and Public Health Management and/or other related fields. With 5 years relevant working experience, preferably in program/project implementation and/or other related fields.
- Proven spirit of initiative and ability to work independently.
Languages:

- Experience on RH is required, and on GBV domain is desirable
- Excellent and proven experience in dealing with local government and NGOs
- Proficient in MS word and MS excel spreadsheet: PP. and Knowledge of MS Project in an asset

Salary on monthly basis: Between 1,050,000 SYP to 1190000 SYP.
