Responsibilities
Act as the technical focal point for the poultry distribution component of the project.

Support the procurement process of the poultry, including preparing specifications, supporting technical evaluation of offers and follow the contracting and delivery process
Responsible for the inspection of the hens, roosters, fodders and vet medicines during Poultry Field Visits.

Provide additional technical advices to the beneficiaries how to raise poultry during Poultry Field Visits.
Liaise with the MEAL Manager to provide daily reports and information to COOPI for donor reports, M&E reports, process monitoring.

Support the identification of potential bottlenecks in project implementation and propose solutions to the Project Manager
Ensure that activities are conducted in compliance with COOPI's Code of Conduct and the humanitarian principles.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure the non-disclosure of any information acquired in the course of duty, to any other person or organization without approval.
Perform other duties as required

Qualifications
University-level education in a relevant area of studies (Bachelor degree or Master degree)
At least 2 years of experience in conducting technical advisory activities with regards to domesticated animals, with a focus on poultry keeping
Experience in the provision of technical capacity building for the beneficiaries;
Knowledge of the humanitarian system;
Flexible to travel to remote locations.
Deliver results and feedback as per deadlines
Good writing skills in English and Arabic.

Specific Vacancy Requirements
Willingness to conduct daily field visits to Dara'a and Eastern Ghouta areas
Experience in the field of poultry keeping in the project areas is desirable.
Due to the level of specialization of the profile researched, the selection will be conducted on a rolling basis until a satisfactory application is found.
