The Safety and Security Manager, is responsible for the safety and security operation of staff and properties of FMFI-S and any 3rd parties on the Institution’s premises, is also responsible for the implementation of prevention, mitigation, preparedness and protection strategies for FMFI-S in the event of an organizational crisis.
The Safety and Security Manager assures that safety rules and manual are prepared, implemented, followed and regularly trained. Further that functioning safety equipment are installed and regularly monitored; needs to liaise with external security parties.

• University degree in Law or any related field
• Knowledge of fire safety and local labor law
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a managerial position in a similar function
• Good knowledge in spoken and written English
• Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a security background check
• Ability to research and analyze complex situations
• Ability to prepare clear and concise reports
• Coordination, communication, time management, problem solving, presentation skills
• Flexibility, integrity, enthusiasm towards work, confidentiality and ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of fire safety and local labor law

FMFI-S services cover seven governorates through eight branches and six service units in Damascus, Sweida, Aleppo, Lattakia, Tartous, Salamieh, Masyaf, and Homs.
