Responsibilities
The Short Term IT Assistant is a part-time employee of ZOA Syria Response. Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Operations, The IT Assistant is responsible for the maintenance of IT services in ZOA Syria according to the ZOA quality and safety standards, both in the country and field offices. s/he is able to independently manage the ICT systems, implement new systems, manage ICT equipment.

Tasks Responsibilities & Results:

- Configure and maintenance and repair of LAN,WLAN, Satellite or wireless connections in ZOA office and make sure that internet and internal network are working well. Check and adjust when necessary the internet speed and the condition of the internet.
- Provide advice on hardware and software updates and improvements to the Manager of Operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of all services and ICT equipment.
- Provide advice on improvements of the office IT equipment and services.
- Regular track of the functionality of the printers and ICT hardware and ensure proper functioning.
- Solve problems with laptops, printers, software, etc.
- Provide technical support for video conferences and meetings.

Qualifications
Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in ICT related field.
- At least 5 years work experience in a ICT & network maintenance and communication.
- Very Good spoken and written command of English.
- Excellent spoken and written command of Arabic.
- Computer skills, particularly in Word and Excel.

- Analytical.
- Strong communication skills, able to teach others.
- Proactive and works independently.
- Team player.

- Interpersonal and cross-cultural sensitivity;
