Scope/Objective
Main objective of this position is to help us for strengthening its monitoring and evaluation systems and practices and generate evidence-based feedback for program planning and policy formulation. The M and E will serve as a key instrument for organization’s recovery monitoring.
this position will help in data collection and analysis activities to help ensure accountability and efficiency from start to finish of the project. S/he will work closely with the Program team to assess field conditions support M&E capacity building initiatives and facilitate the collection of quality data. S/he will collaborate with the program team in
reviewing and preparing monthly quarterly and final narrative donor reports.
Functions / Key Results Expected
1. Assist in Develop Monitoring and Evaluation Framework and Plan.
2. Prepare annual monitoring and evaluation plan in consistent with M&E Framework.
3. Conduct all M and E initiatives for an assigned Implementing Partner including monitoring data quality tracking the progress of activities and identifying opportunities for staff and capacity building opportunities.
4. To assist in establishing a coherent M and E system for the project that provides reliable data.
5. To review new project activities and analyse how to evaluate and communicate clear and verifiable results
6. Support M and E unit and the Line Manager in reviewing the project performance indicators and help to identify potential modifications as needed.
7. Develop a detailed monitoring and evaluation plan for projects outlining data collection analysis and reporting tools and processes.
8. Perform field visits as per need to ensure the quality of the data gathered by the project and to verify the accuracy of the reported data.
9. Support the M and E unit to ensure that donor senior management and implementing partner queries are addressed in an accurate and timely manner.
10. Actively participate in program and project evaluations.
11. Support program managers in reviewing donor reports to ensure that high quality reports are submitted on time.
12. Record report and analyse data against indicators listed in the Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP).
13. Suggest ways to facilitate data collection and flow of data within the teams.
14. Tracking progress made on the Project’s Results Framework during project implementation

Requirements
Core Competencies: (Technical Recruitment)
• Knowledge in the humanitarian sector.
• Analytical mind.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Very good use of Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel).
• Strong experience in assessments and data collection.
• Management skill is a plus.
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English and Arabic.
Recruitment Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
- 2 Years of professional working experience in managing assessments and data collection exercises.
- Experience in the design and/or implementation of M and E system
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
- Generate all required reports and data/data analysis of monitoring.
- Excellent data analytical skills and interpretation. S/he must have ability to write clearly and concisely, and have sound quantitative skills (managing, analysing and interpreting data).
- Support in completing the monthly Activity Progress Reports.
- Good communication and social skills.
Language Requirements:
Good written and spoken skills in Arabic and English
Arabic and English mandatory.
