Responsibilities
Scope/Objective
The Field Supervisor’s responsibilities include ordering equipment that is necessary for the project at hand, scheduling delivery of the equipment, and reviewing the equipment budget to ensure that there are no cost overruns. You should also be able to train and mentor field staff.
Field Supervisor’s responsibilities in general include planning, coordinating, directing, and managing the daily activities of the assigned work by supervising the staff members.
Thus, it is important that these duties should be carried out efficiently, so that the project runs smoothly and effectively, leading to better profits.


Functions / Key Results Expected
1. He/she is responsible for the overall supervision and training of the staff members to provide the necessary guidance.
2. He/she coordinates the field activities so that daily, short term, and long term production objectives can be achieved and also closely monitors the progress of the work.
3. He/she studies what equipment is necessary for effective field operation and assists in its procurement and makes sure that it is as per the given specifications.
4. Ordering and scheduling the delivery of all equipment needed for the project.
5. Acting as the main point of communication between the main field and the office.
6. Managing the work schedules and time cards for all field staff.
7. Providing leadership to on-site staff, sub-contractors, and other parties.
8. Investigating and resolving beneficiaries complaints.
9. Ensuring that safety policies are strictly adhered to.
10. Reviewing project progress to ensure that deadlines are met.
11. Ensure that the works quality are at acceptable level and intervene if such quality is not attained
12. Carry out any other tasks related to the works and the project given by the Project Manager
13. Assist in the preparation of inspection for the substantial completion and snag list
14. Any other tasks designated by line manager.

Qualifications
Core Competencies: (Technical Recruitment)
• Knowledge in the humanitarian sector.
• Analytical mind.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Very good use of Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel).
• Organisational capacity.
• Relational qualities.
• Training skills.
• Strong experience in assessments and data collection.
• Management skill is a plus.
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English and Arabic.

Recruitment Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience:
-2 Years of professional working experience in managing assessments and data collection exercises.
- Demonstrate base understanding and willingness to commit and comply, implement and promote gender, age and diversity principles and policies
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
- Generate all required reports and data/data analysis of monitoring.
- Prepare monthly report of the tasks completed by MandE team with Matrices, tables, graphs
- Support in completing the monthly Activity Progress Reports.
- Any other report related to M&E / M&E intervention.

Language Requirements:

Good written and spoken skills in Arabic and English
Arabic and English mandatory.
