Responsibility 1: Contributes to the implementation of the projects
Monitors the projects activities, in order to evaluate, promote and share ideas for improvement and necessary changes, in line with TGH frameworks and SOPs
Supervises all engineering works related to any infrastructures
Contributes to the information sharing regarding activities planning
Participates in the assessments upon identified needs by the management team
Contributes to design HP messages & activities with HP team in link with the PM
Provides technical support to the WASH and shelter team in link with the PM
Uses all the required tools, guidelines, work standards
Collects, analyses and shares the data for all the projects within TGH framework
Ensures that TGH’s global strategy in Syria is clear for all staff members
Ensures that TGH’s global strategy in Syria is clear for local communities and ensures that the activities are known and accepted
Ensures that all project documents are properly and timely filled
Guarantees archiving off all the project related documents as per TGH guidelines
Participates to the procurements related documents upon request, prepare purchase requests, anticipate the purchases in link with program and logistic team
Participates upon needs and as per requested to deliveries of materials, tools and equipment required for education and protection activities
Participates as needed and requested to identify suppliers in the field, collect prices and report it to the PM
Responsibility 2: HP team management
Oversees the work of the volunteers under her/his management
Follows up the attendance sheets and reports to the manager on a weekly basis
Organizes as per needed the planning of HP volunteers in coordination with relevant interlocutors
Ensures the link and the communication flow between TGH and all external entities involved in HP: meetings, minute
Guarantees archiving of all the documents
Responsibility 3: Internal and external reporting – communication
Internal:
Ensures the internal reporting as requested by the program Manager
Participates to writing of concept note, proposal, report or any document for donors
Remains in line with TGH’s communication channel and enquires about them if/when unclear
Ensures that the project documents are properly filled and timely sent
Provides program manager with photos, success stories on regular basis
Reports immediately any trouble met by the team while implementing the activities, or related to any topic connected to TGH and its presence on the field
External:
Participate in the external reporting of project activities for donors, local authorities & partners…
Attends coordination meetings when needed with external partners, locality, SARC etc and send a minute to the line manager
Ensures communication with all relevant local authorities (line Ministries & municipalities) and partners (SARC) in line with TGH’s frame and reports to the line manager
Responsibility 4: Ensure translation into English/Arabic as soon as necessary for working documents
Translate in case of misunderstanding for employees
Translating memos or other documents as necessary

1. Civil Engineer or any relevant field.
2. Good in English (written and spoken).
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in rehabilitation projects.
4. Good knowledge of AutoCAD, and Office programs (Excel, Word).
5. Able to prepare bill of quantities, tests the quality and measures quantities.
6. Previous experience with NGO, or INGO is preferable

Established in 1994 TGH is an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) designing and implementing emergency, rehabilitation and development programs. Its action includes several areas of expertise within a comprehensive approach: the programs fall within the fields of Education; Water Hygiene & Sanitation; Food Security, Livelihood & Rural Development. In 2018, TGH operates in 10 countries and manages 70 programs.
TGH has been registered in Syria in May 2017 and works under the coordination of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC). Both Organisations have agreed to cooperate in order to enhance their common objective of offering humanitarian aid to the Syrian affected people that need help wherever it is possible in the country. The main TGH sectors of activities in Syria are WASH and Education.
A preliminary assessment in the WASH sector has been carried-out by TGH from 18th July to 27th July 2017 under the coordination and with the support of SARC. Another one has been conducted by TGH team and SARC in Hama in October 2018.
Since then, TGH signed 2 WASH projects in Hama under SHF and Rural Damascus under CDCS, and is planning to submit project proposal to various donors in 2019.
