Responsibilities
Responsibility 1: Contributes to the implementation of the projects
- Monitor the projects activities, in order to evaluate, promote and share ideas for improvement and necessary changes, in line with TGH frameworks and SOPs
- Contributes to design education and child protection awareness messages for the communities in link with the PM
- Contributes to determining case management plans in link with the PM
- Guarantees the confidentiality of the case files
- Provides technical support to the project volunteers and case workers in link with the PM
- Uses all the required tools, guidelines, work standards
- Collects, analyses and shares the data for all the projects within TGH framework
- Ensures that all project documents are properly and timely filled
- Contributes to the information sharing regarding activities planning
- Participates in the assessments upon identified needs by the management team
- Ensures that TGH’s global strategy in Syria is clear for all staff members
- Ensures that TGH’s global strategy in Syria is clear for local communities and ensures that the activities are known and accepted
- Participates to the procurements related documents upon request, prepare purchase requests, anticipate the purchases in link with program and logistic team
- Participates upon needs and as per requested to deliveries of materials, tools and equipment required for education and protection activities
- Participates as needed and requested to identify suppliers in the field, collect prices and report it to the PM

Responsibility 2: Team management
- Oversees the work of the staff under her/his management
- Guarantees the administrative management of her/his team (daily attendance, leaves management) in collaboration with the PM
- Ensures the communication flow in its team: meetings, minutes…
- Is involved in conducting staff appraisal for the team under her/his management
- Ensure that her/his team complies with TGH internal rules (including ethical and security) and report any out of framework behaviour to the PM
- Oversees the needs in trainings in order to provide capacity building of the managed team once validated by the PM

Responsibility 3: Internal and external reporting – communication
Internal:
- Ensure the internal reporting as requested by the program Manager
- Participates to writing of concept note, proposal, report or any document for donors
- Remains in line with TGH’s communication channel and enquires about them if/when unclear
- Ensures that the project documents are properly filled and timely sent
- Provides program manager with photos, success stories on regular basis
- Reports immediately any trouble met by the team while implementing the activities, or related to any topic connected to TGH and its presence on the field

External:
- Participates in the external reporting of project activities for donors, local authorities & partners…
- Attends coordination meetings when requested with external partners, locality, SARC etc and send a minute to the line manager
- Ensures communication with all relevant local authorities (line Ministries & municipalities) and partners (SARC, UN Agencies) in line with TGH’s frame and reports to the line manager

Responsibility 4: Ensure translation into English/Arabic as soon as necessary for working documents
- Translates in case of misunderstanding for employees
- Translating memos or other documents as necessary


Qualifications
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in the fields of Education and Protection, including case management
-Good in English (written and spoken) mandatory
-Previous experience with NGO, or INGO mandatory
-Degree in education, psychology, sociology is preferable
