o Provide technical guidance and support to INTERSOS medical team and its partner involved in COVID19 Response oriented project or in activities implemented in other sectors during the COVID19 pandemic, ensuring quality in the implementation of activities and services as well as the adherence to protection standards.
o Participates in defining, planning, and monitoring medical activities and programs in the project in accordance with INTERSOS protocols and coordinates human and material related resources to ensure the quality of care provided by INTERSOS.
o In collaboration with the Program Manager, the Medical Coordinator and the rest of team support on the definition, implementation and monitoring medical activities, according to INTERSOS project plans and mission strategy, standards, and protocols.
o Provides technical inputs and recommendations for new and ongoing interventions and health sector priorities when needed.
o Participates in need assessments, when requested, and the development of new proposal writing and reports to donors.
o In coordination with the Program Manager, establish and maintain regular and collaborative relations with relevant donors, local authorities, health sector partners, project stakeholders and other organizations working in the target areas.
o Proactively participate in cluster meetings (Health sector and MHPSS working group) and relevant inter-sectoral and bilateral coordination meetings as requested by the Program Manager and Medical Coordinator.
o Support the collection of medical relevant data for project purposes and its analysis.
o Prepare in cooperation with the medical team a technically sound (monthly & weekly) work plans and reports, consistent with the goals and objectives of the project.
o Provide technical support to medical personnel in the field through self-knowledge and adherence to INTERSOS policies, ensuring compliance with the protocols of INTERSOS medical activities.
o Provide technical guidance to the development of the MHPSS activities and related material for capacity building trainings for HFs workers and SARC volunteers in strong coordination with the Protection Officer.
o Adapt and apply the INTERSOS MHPSS capacity building package in collaboration with Protection Officer.
o Design and apply a pre and post test system to evaluate the impact of the capacity building for health and MHPSS and identify additional need to be addressed.
o Contribute to the maintenance of an up-to-date service mapping jointly with the Protection Officer of the service providers operating in the area and take proactive steps to remain informed about the available services for MHPSS.

Advanced university degree in medicine, public health or paramedical studies or advance degree in Psychology.
Proven deep knowledge and programming in MHPSS in humanitarian context.
Proven training experience
Minimum two years relevant professional experience in the health sector with health institutions, or international NGOs.
Understanding of humanitarian operations principles, standards, and best practices.
Excellent team player with collaborative, pro-active attitude, and teamwork experience.
Ability to work in a complex environment and under pressure.
Proven deep knowledge and programming in MHPSS in humanitarian context.
