Responsibilities
1.Support of the Protection Officer and the Risk Communication Expert on the definition of the right messages for the RCCE campaigns for protection and health for COVID 19 response.
2.Assist on developing, design and testing appropriate messaging on protection (CP, GBV) in coordination with the project team and the national partner.
3.Support the Protection Officer on developing the contents for ToT trainings for SARC staff in protection (health workers, community mobilizers and SARC volunteers).
4.Provide assistance to the team to conduct awareness with community on hygiene/WASH, health, education, protection.
5.Provide support to the national partner regarding communication activities for protection and health in response to COVID 19, not limited to distribution and/or trainings.
6.Assist in the follow up implementation of communication activities related to sectoral projects, including monitoring activities on site, follow up with technical questions and issues, and present recommendations for corrections in the projects based on monitoring and technical follow up.
7.Promptly report any urgent issue and/or constraints
8.Regularly report on the implementation of the activities.
9.Any other required tasks as needed.


Qualifications
•Graduate or Higher Diploma in social sciences and/or communication.
•Minimum 3 years relevant professional experience in the protection sector (of which at least 1 year in a supervisory role)
•Community development and social mobilization experience with local NGOs of minimum 2 years
•Respect and non-discriminatory attitude
•Good interpersonal and communication skills
•Strong planning and organizational skills
•Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
•Fluency in Arabic and knowledge of English (oral and written)
•Previous experiences with INGO are considered an asset.
•Good knowledge and experience in community level work,
•Proven experience in project monitoring.
•High sense of responsibility and empathetic
