1. Contribute to the planning of logistics operations for in order to meet the requirements and needs of the sections concerned in a timely manner.
2. Escalate any delay or issue to Purchasing and Logistics Supervisor in order to ensure the timely provision of the purchased items.
3. Search for new forwarding companies to ensure the best selection and best terms.
4. Coordinate with the Forwarding company in order to prepare and schedule the plan of shipments until arrival to the agreed location.
5. Get the confirmation from the Forwarding company and inform the finance team regarding the upcoming shipments.
6. Collect offers regarding the air fright in order to get the best terms and prices.
7. Ensure the matching of the packing list and the requested items with regards to the quantity and weight.
8. Coordinate with the Forwarding company with the required documents and prepare the Import license.
9. Review invoices related to Forwarding company and logistics issues before being sent to Finance department.
10. Coordinate with the warehouse regarding the date of receiving the purchased items.
11. Ensure the compliance with the regulatory and governmental laws regarding the transportation and customs clearance laws and instructions.
12. Follow-up with the forwarding company and any related parties regarding obtaining the documents related to logistics process.
13. Collect, archive and record data related to logistic issues.

United Cement Group is a limited liability company, building its cement plant in Abu Shamat, with a production capacity of 4.5 million tons of cement per year.
