Scope/Objective
Under the overall direction of the Area Manager, and in close coordination with the Social Cohesion Focal Point, the Project Assistant will work in collaboration with the Project team to support the implementation of project’s activities “Support community’s people s access to services through Citizen Services Centre and enhancing community security and social cohesion Project aims to improve the effectiveness of services provided to citizens, especially the displaced, returnees and vulnerable groups, especially women and youth, in addition to implement activities and initiative to enhance social cohesion and community security.
By unifying the mechanisms of providing public services and increasing their effectiveness and ensuring access for all citizens, in addition to raising the technical competencies necessary to provide services to local residents, expatriates and returnees to their cities and villages of origin through the preparation of the citizen service point (single window) in the city
of Deir Ezzor.
Functions / Key Results Expected
the Project Assistant will carry out the following tasks:
- Assist the project technician through implementing the project activities.
- Administrative supervision and follow-up of all project activities.
- Preparing and writing reports in Arabic with the ability to analyze information and extract elites from it.
- Prepare attendance and absence schedules for project cadres.
- Prepare the monthly statistics and present them to the financial department accompanied by the personal identities of the beneficiaries.
- Coordination with the field portfolio accountant in procurements.
- Follow up on the documents that are necessary for the progress of work, keep and archive them.
- Organize and archive the project documents to ensure they are not used for other purposes outside the project.
- Compliance with any duties assigned by the main supervisor.
Duration of Employment: According to the project duration (6 months).

Recruitment Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields
Experience: 1 years of experience in administrative work or another related field
Other skills Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages
Good in English and Arabic (spoken and written) is required.
