Scope/Objective
Under the overall direction of the Area Manager, and in close coordination with the Social Cohesion Focal Point, the Project Technical will work in collaboration with the Project team to support the implementation of project’s activities “Support community s people s access to services through Citizen Services Centre and enhancing community security and social cohesion Project aims to improve the effectiveness of services provided to local community, especially the displaced, returnees and vulnerable groups, especially women and youth in addition to enhance the community to work
together to promote social cohesion.
By unifying the mechanisms of providing public services and increasing their effectiveness and ensuring access for all citizens, in addition to raising the technical competencies necessary to provide services to local residents, expatriates and returnees to their cities and villages of origin through the preparation of the citizen service point (single window) in the city of Deir Ezzor.
Functions / Key Results Expected
- Provide technical support to the implementation of project’s activities from substantive, administrative and financial points of view.
- Liaise with local authorities and conduct field visits to assess the current situation, to explore potential and means of support to the local authorities in the area of citizen services centres.
- Develop and implement a planning mechanism to ensure an efficient and effective achievements of the project objectives
- Organize and monitor schedules and ensure commitment to the implementation of the project in accordance with the plan
- Monitor budget and help ensure resources are used efficiently;
- Efficiently implement any necessary administrative tasks,
- Ensure that the project implementing is according to SCLD thematic area.
- Coordination with partners/ community to do the assessments.
- Ensure that logistical and procurement functions are carried out within the specified time frame.
- Evaluate the logistics and procurement needs of the project and supervise the validity of its implementation.
- Ensure that the delivered material meets the required technical specifications.
- Participate in the development of improved work methods, tools and systems.
- Participate in matching targeting criteria for potential beneficiaries.
- Ensures quality control at all stages of the project cycle.
- Document lessons learned and share experience with Focal Person.
- Performs other related technical duties as required.
Duration of Employment: According to the project duration (6 months).

Experience: Two years of operational relevant experience, and experience in the field and experience in Social Cohesion.

Good in English and Arabic (spoken and written) is required.
