Responsibilities
- Identify and receive Child/Persons of Concern (PoC) from social workers, outreach volunteers or/and other frontline workers/service providers.
-Conduct an assessment to identify SGBV/CP/PSS needs (through individual counseling) and adequate services, including referral to specific MHPSS services
-Develop an action/care plan jointly with the Child/POCs and their primary network and coordinate with other focal points and service providers in the community center to ensure multi-sectorial and comprehensive plans (ex: VT, SSBG ,remedial classes )
-Refer cases to specific services (internal and external) to meet their needs according to the jointly developed care plan.
-Follow up on the referrals to other services outside the community center through direct contact with service providers and/or through the children & primary network/the PoC (if appropriate for the context).
-Provide appropriate SGBV initial and therapeutic counseling for individuals at the level of focused non- specialized intervention according to IASC MHPSS pyramid of intervention.
-Conduct mapping of services, in cooperation with the SGBV/CP/PSS ORVs in the catchment area to ensure efficient referrals and update the map periodically.
-Follow up on the implementation of the care plan until the cases are closed.
-Evaluate the outcomes of the care plan and amend it accordingly.
-Work closely and coordinate with the PSS outreach volunteers and PSS activity facilitator for follow up and additional interventions.
-Update the case management database complying with the standards of information management. Ensure updated documentation of the cases using appropriate forms (soft/hard) as per the SOPs.
-Ensure strict confidentiality and privacy of the Child/POC including record keeping.
-Prepare and submit reports in a timely manner and as requested.
-Assist in psycho-education for groups and individuals and their family members when additional support in the center is needed.
-Alert and report the SGBV/CP/PSS coordinator at the central level whenever there are complex cases which cannot be addressed in an effective manner
-Conduct outreach and home visits and documented (when needed and appropriate for the context)
-Ensure close collaboration and substantial coordination with CP case management for cases of children in needs of PSS in all steps of the case management cycle (identification, development of care plan, follow up, and closure)
-Assist in the design and development of awareness materials in coordination with other CP/PSS staff. Conduct awareness activities on various CP risks as per the needs.
-Coordinate closely and assist the SGBV case manager in cases of children survivors during all the steps of the case management cycle (identification, development of care plan, follow up and closure of case)
-Participate in relevant trainings and attend meetings as required.
-Perform any other related duties as required.

Qualifications
-University Degree in social work, psychology or welfare/community services
-Minimum of 3 years & relevant work experience in large organizations
-Excellent English and Arabic language skills both written and spoken are essential.
-Substantial experience working with International NGOs, UN agencies
-Demonstrated skills in assessment, counselling and casework.
-Respect of COOPI regulations, policies, and Humanitarian principles


Specific Vacancy Requirements
