Responsibilities
Scope/Objective
A photographer works closely with all project activities to capture photos, through the use of creativity and technical abilities in photographic equipment and photo manipulation software.
To ensure that desired results are obtained, photographers have to communicate effectively with all project staff to obtain success stories. Other duties include recommending creative ideas and solutions to achieve desired results and maintaining a professional image.
Functions / Key Results Expected
1. Take professional pictures in the activities in the field or locations
2. Work closely with project staff and colleagues to produce high-quality photographic images
3. Use different techniques to enhance the photographs as required
4. Use photo manipulation software to get desired results
5. Recommend creative ideas to exceed expectations of goals and objectives
6. prepare success stories and communication reports
7. Use artistic knowledge to enhance and compose photographs
8. Review sets of photographs and select the best results
9. Operate various photographic equipment such as single-lens reflex cameras and film or digital cameras and lighting

- Knowledge of photography techniques
- Ability to stand or crouch for hours during photoshoots
- Proficiency with photo editing software and camera equipment
- Communication skills
- Flexible to travel to locations as required of the job
Recruitment Qualifications
Education Bachelor degree
Experience Two years of related experience
Experience in media covering for community- based initiatives and community actions is an asset.
Previous experience in working with institutions of the civil society and local public organizations, especially with UNDP is an asset.
Computer literacy is a prerequisite
