Scope/Objective
Under the overall direction of the Area Manager, and in close coordination with the Social Cohesion Focal Point, the Project M and E officer is responsible for monitoring, tracking and evaluation of the implementation of “Future Team-phase 2” project, as stipulated in the programme support document, and as instructed by the Area Manager
Functions / Key Results Expected
- In coordination with UNDP field office team, collect the baselines of the beneficiaries as per the agreed M and E framework
- Develop a monitoring plan and forms to track projects’ activities, including site visits, interviews of beneficiaries and stakeholders etc.
- Conduct monitoring of projects’ activities as per agreed monitoring plan for each project.
- Support Social Cohesion Focal Point under the overall direction of the Area Manager for tracking progress against key indicators monthly.
- Collect the human-interest stories and share with Support Social Cohesion Focal Point under the overall direction of the Area Manager
- Alert Social Cohesion Focal Point under the overall direction of the Area Manager potential misconduct of the projects
-Prepare monthly reports and final report for each project

Education University degree
Experience Two years of relevant practical and field experience in project follow-up and control
Experience in community-based assistance and in participatory community actions is an asset.
Previous experience in working with institutions of the civil society and local public organizations, and with UN system is an asset.
Previous experience in related working with UNDP is an asset.
Computer skills are a prerequisite.
Language Arabic
