Responsibilities
Project management:
- Frequently monitor the progress of the project activiries, and the realization of the project results at all levels as per the project document and the relevant results framework.
– In coordination with the Education Programme Manager and the M&E officer, supervise and support the monitoring, and evaluation processes, and suggest changes & improvements in project procedures and materials based on observations and discussions with the project staff.
- in cooperation with the Educaiton Programme Manager, fill in all project documents properly and timely.
- Ensure a proper coordination and communication with all relevant national authorities (line Ministries municipalities) and partners (SARC, UN Agencies)
- contribute to continuous learning of the organization and the staff through proper documentation of lessons learned and best practices, and active sharing of knowledge in internal meetings.
- In coordination with the Education Proramme Manager represent FCA in Hama area, and attend sector coordination meetings, and meetings with partners, local authorities and withother stakeholders as needed.- Take a proactive stance to identify areas requiring improvement, adjustment and/or intervention.

Management of the logistical aspects of the project:
- Follow up and support the procurement processes of materials and services related to project activities
- prepare purchase requests, anticipate the purchases in coordination with program and logistic team
- Forecast and plan Education stocks required for the project
- Follow up requests and deliveries of materials, tools and equipment required for Education activities.

Staff Management:
- Supervise the performance of the staff, contracters, and other associated parties, and make sure that they carry out their duties and responsibilities in quality manner, according to Donor and FCA quality and humanitarian standards and internal policies
- Ensure that all staff have fuflil their commitments toward the realization of project targets as per schedule with quality reporting and correct documentation
- Ensure the administrative management of team (daily attendance, leaves management) in collaboration with the HR department, and ensure that his/her team comploes with internal FCA HR/Administrative rules and policies
- Build the capacity of the managed team: perform regular performance evaluation, give working objectives, adapt the job description, identify the needs in terms of capacity building, and conduct trainings.
- In coordination with the Educaiton Programme Manager and the Operations Manager, make sure the safety and security meseares and relevant rules for the field are adhered to by the project staff, volunteers, and visitors within the areas of interventions in Hama.

Reporting:
- Report on the project activities and progress in a frequesnt basis as agreed upon with the Educaitonal Programme Manager .
- Ensure timely submission of follow up reports to the concerned person and ensure the accuracy and the timeliness of the reporting
- Participate to the reporting of project activities (to donors, local authorities & partners).

Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in social science or Education.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience
• Excellent computer skills, especially good management of Office Package, statistics software
• Basic M&E skills
• Profound understanding of the humanitarian situation in Syria, and planning of response;
• Existing network of stakeholders;
• Strong organizational and management skills, strong self-initiative and self-managing skills
• Experience in working with multiple donors, knowledge of EU, UN, US government.
