Responsibilities
The Cash Field Monitor will be a full-time employee of ZOA Syria. Under the direct supervision of the Project Officer, the Cash Field Monitor is responsible for beneficiary verification at the field level and monitoring of cash transfers, as well as conducting post-distribution monitoring visits, supporting additional surveys and assessments, and provide accurate reports to the MEAL Officer and Project Officer.

Main Activities:

1. Engaging with the target community and represent ZOA to local populations or representatives.
2. Assist in the recruitment, training and management of enumerators.
3. Assist in data collection, including household-level assessment verification, distribution and post-distribution monitoring, price monitoring, Market study, and other surveys and assessments as needed.
4. Be responsible for the collation of reporting information from enumerators.
5. Submit reports on distribution/activities monitoring result, challenges faced and lessons learned.
6. Engage with community members to solicit feedback/complaints/suggestions and record stories of success.
7. Conduct registration and verification of identified beneficiaries with ZOA Enumerators.
8. Supervise the distribution process in a manner that will ensure all targeted beneficiaries receive all planned cash transfers or commodities and in their rightful rations.
9. Ensure proper documentation of program processes is upheld, i.e. distribution plans, beneficiary lists, cash requisition, distribution reports, working with all stakeholders.
10. Ensure all forms and reports are completely filled and reviewed and approved by relevant staff.
11. Ensure proper handling and movement of any project monitoring, assessment, and survey files.
12. Monitor indicators performance and contribute to the regular monitoring and performance.
13. Any other tasks requested by the Supervisor.

Qualifications
Knowledge & Experience:

- Bachelor Degree in Development Studies or Social Sciences or any relevant subject.
- Minimum working experience of 2 years in similar role.
- Experience in community work and/or experience in project implementation, preferably with NGO.
- Experience in MPCA activities.
- Experience in Kobo or other mobile data collection techniques.
- Understanding of the application of humanitarian standards in field work.
- Very good spoken and written command of English.
- Excellent spoken and written command of Arabic.
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Previous UNSSAFE, HEAT or other similar personal safety awareness training preferred but this can be provided for the right candidate.

Duration of Position:5 Months with the possibility of extension subject to performance and funding.

Salary and Benefits
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with ZOA Terms of Employment for National staff and relevant experience.
