Responsibilities
1. Plan and design optical network based on annual requirements and corporate strategy in accordance with pre-set KPIs and risk assessment.
2. Work in coordination with suppliers on preparing low-level design and check the relevant bill of materials.
3. Update network documentation upon network change.
4. Conduct survey for optical network expansion.
5. Issue requests for optical, inter cities transmission and interconnect.
6. Follow up optical network plan and supervise the contractor installation of fiber optical.
7. Provide new node integration plan and service routing.
8. Monitor daily measurements and KPIs of optical network performance.
9. Analyze network underperformance and issue the corrective action plans.
10. Optimize transport network in terms of capacity and performance.
11. Prepare work orders related to transport network and submit them to Transport Planning Access-Optical HOS for review.
12. Build new reports relevant to network elements and services KPIs.
13. Collect and analyze network performance data on a regular basis to provide the related performance reports.
14. Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
15. Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and teamwork.
16. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.

Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor Degree in Telecom/Computer/IT/Electronic Engineering.
2. Experience: 1 Year of Technical Experience preferably in Telecom is a plus.
