Responsibilities
General responsibilities:
• Representing TDH-It with the SARC branch, donors, local and international NGOs at the local level in the area of activity,
• Participate to the coordination sector meetings in Homs and report to the Damascu office person in charge.
• Coordinating and supervising the project’s daily activities, ensuring their consistency with TDH-It plans and monitoring their effectiveness;
• Provide the Damascus office of beneficiaries’ relevant data, their situation and their additional needs,
• Dealing with all logistic requirements, which are needed to carry out the project activities, including in the organization of training activities, workshops, etc.;
• Managing the financial resources entrusted to him/her in a transparent and efficient way, including requesting authorization for any non-routine expenses or changes in routine activities which might affect the allocated budget.
Reporting duties
• Transmitting the weekly reports regarding the activities to the head office in Damascus;
• Preparing the expenditure sheet monthly, or as required by the head office; this includes ensuring that every request of funds is preceded by accurate reporting on the use of previously allocated budget;
• Ensuring that every disbursement is supported by justifying documents/invoices and transmitting them to head office as required.

Qualifications
Education, Skills & Competencies
- University Degree
- Computer literacy with excellent working knowledge in WORD, ACCESS and EXCEL.
- Experience in social community based activities and awareness raising activities;
- Good knowledge of Daraa governorate and its environment;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Previous experience in working with large team at community base;
- Have 2 years working experience including one year in social work preferably in the NGO setting.
- Languages Fluency in English is required
