Responsibilities
The Operations Facilitator will be responsible for the following duties:

1- Work closely with ORGANIZATION partners and stakeholders in different project activities related to General Food Assistance, Nutrition, School Feeding and Livelihoods as per agreed work plan for the month.
2- Participate in beneficiary selection committees, verification process, community consultation
3- Conduct monthly follow up meeting with partners on ground on the issues and findings reported by TPMs or ORGANIZATION monitors.
4- Regular presence at the CP level to check on the registration process, warehouse condition and FDP enhancements if ongoing
5- Conduct meetings with stakeholders on behalf of ORGANIZATION as and when required.
6- Conduct commodity inventory at the CPs warehouses when we requested.
7- Follow up on project implementation or delivery of assistance
8- Provide written input and reporting such as working group reports and minutes of meetings (with input from facilitator).
9- Visit contracted retailers as and when needed for various follow ups.
10- Conduct FGD with ORGANIZATION’s beneficiaries at FDPs and other areas of operation on behalf of ORGANIZATION as and when required
11- Conduct rapid Food Security assessment and market assessments under ORGANIZATION guidance when required
12- Follow up with budget implementation at CP level in addition to verification of prices.


Qualifications
1. Advanced University degree in International Affairs, Economics, Nutrition/Health, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Social Sciences or other
2. Field relevant to international development assistance, or First University Degree with additional years of related work experience and/or training/courses
3. Five years relevant experience, preferably on in implementing technical programs (i.e. nutrition, livelihood etc.), and providing input into designing operations, policy discussions and decisions, livelihood projects, Emergency response and humanitarian aid intervention.
4. Good knowledge of Office package.
5. Preferable experience of working in the Humanitarian Community.
6. Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Arabic.



Specific Vacancy Requirements
*The Operations facilitator be based in Deir Ezzor governorate during the contract.
- The Operations facilitator shall not leave Deir Ezzor governorate for more than two consecutive days without formally notifying the HoFO one week in advance.
- The Operation facilitator will be responsible to arrange for the required accommodation and transportation to/from work locations and to/from related stakeholders within Deir Ezzor
governorate.
- The Operations Facilitator will be the sole responsible for his/her own personal safety.
