Responsibilities
1. Monitor the implementation of information security processes, policies of standards and guidelines.
2. Analyze and report suspected information security breaches and recommend preventive actions.
3. Follow up the execution of IS (Information Security) incident response plans and report results.
4. Ensure the implementation of an ongoing risk assessment program.
5. Ensure the compliance of new acquired or developed applications with IS policies.
6. Evaluate changes to the corporate environment for IS impact and report findings.
7. Monitor access control activities and maintain identity lifecycle.
8. Coordinate the implementation or upgrades of information systems with departments, suppliers’/sub-contractors’ working with Syriatel.
9. Monitor and analyze data leakage system’s logs to apply the corrective action.
10. Ensure the implementation of investigations in IT frauds and mitigation measures.
11. Monitor physical security and alarming systems.
12. Conduct security orientation and security awareness programs explaining security risks and demonstrating good practices.
13. Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
14. Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and teamwork.
15. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.

Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT Engineering.
2. Experience: 1 Year of IT Experience Preferably in Telecom is a plus.
3. Professional Certification: CISSP/ CISA is a plus.
