Responsibilities
(Include the following; however, other duties may apply)
1. Control a variety of equipment and machinery during normal operation, scheduled maintenance and emergency repair procedures
2. Perform duties to operate and maintain the plant facility’s equipment, perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
3. Oversee machinery indicators to determine existence of malfunctions or suboptimal performance, and initiate appropriate repair request, diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, Examine and test, measure and make calibrations, take readings from trends, meters and gauges at established intervals, and take corrective steps as necessary.
4. Follow all relevant safety protocols to ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment and minimize risk of damage to property and personnel, comply with safety regulations and maintain plant housekeeping and orderly work areas.
5. Participate in regular training in the both theory and practical of the plant and related systems to improve performance, acquire professional competency required by company regulations
6. Communicate clearly and effectively with other plant personnel, including managers, engineers and technicians to coordinate tasks, Direct and delegate workload to personnel.
7. Place standby emergency electrical generators on line in emergencies and blackout case
8. Record, write down, Track, compile and maintain electronic / hard forms, logs, and reports of operational and maintenance data of machines and facility.
9. Inspect records and log book entries in order to assess equipment-operating status.
10. Maintain the plant & its surrounding area in a clean and safe condition at all times. And maintenance
11. Execute emergency procedures in order to protect personnel and equipment in case of damage or failure of safety deficiencies.
12. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of plant equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
13. Perform maintenance skills including regular preventive including troubleshooting of plant machines.
14. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
15. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
16. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
17. Control equipment spare parts requesting of the correct parts and equipment’s as the manufacturer specification/ receive and evaluate/ store/ spend.
18. Set working hours for the maintenance plan and obtain approval through production needs.
19. Follow up all procedures, documentation and forms of equipment manufacturer.
