Responsibilities
Program Implementation and management
1. Leads the implementation of the SOS Children s Care Center program in line with the SOS Children s Villages Program Policy, Emergency Policy and related international and national SOS policies, strategies, quality standards, and guidelines.
2. Leads the implementation of the program management cycle
3. Ensures efficiency through best use and sharing of resources
4. Regularly reports on the Center s activities, security situations, and progress towards targets to the Emergency Relief Coordinator, and relevant National Office functions.
5. Ensures that the SOS Children s Care Center is supportive to the brand of the SOS Children s Villages Organisation.
6. Maintain safety compliance of staff and children

HR management and organisational development
1. Ensures the effective implementation of the HR Cycle in the center, following SOS international standards and national legal requirements.
2. Directly managing staff members of the SOS Children s Care Center
3. Sets up and leads an effective management support team
4. Contributes to the development of applied processes together with the national team.
5. Facilitates cooperation and information flow between National Office staff and their counterparts in the center according to the national annual plan, job descriptions and NMT agreed procedures.

Quality management, monitoring and evaluation
1. Continually looks for ways to provide quality services in a cost-effective manner
2. Is overall responsible for quality management in the SOS CCC and ensures the implementation of national and international quality standards with guidance and monitoring from function staff in the National Office.
3. Monitors the implementation of recommendations from national and international quality audits and evaluations


Qualifications
1. Minimum 3 years experience in a managerial position, preferably in the field of education and / or child care
2. University degree in social sciences / Management / HRM psychology or any related field
3. Higher education, vocational studies is a plus
Knowledge of national child well care and child care legislation
4. Interested in working with children and ability to stay in the center when necessary
