Responsibilities
Reporting to the Design Director on All Design Related issues on monthly basis.
Preparing high level of informative design progress reports.
Assists the Design Director in developing quality design briefs, architectural concepts and solutions and interface with design consultants regarding resolution of architectural issues, project reviews, variance orders or changes in designs and drawings. Oversees site work related to architecture on a periodic basis.
Establish the scope of work related to all Architectural and Engineering Design Works.
Achieves a detailed understanding of the Contract documents (drawings and specifications), coordinates work with other disciplines such as mechanical, civil, electrical, etc and advises Project Managers on execution of architecture design and finish.
Monitor and supervises all Design Works in accordance to the contracted scope, time and quality.
Works closely with the Designer/s to resolve architectural and related civil and structural issues.
Follow up all Site works including inspection, and justification of changed work orders, Shop drawings submittals and propose appropriate solutions from the architectural perspective.
Reviews and comments on all shop drawings and documents submitted by the Contractor and ensure the incorporation of revisions on all documents.
Reviews and communicates all monthly reports submitted by the Contractor including areas of concern and recommended plan of actions.
Manages architecture related activities on site from inspection to finish for all Company projects and ensures adherence with budget and quality objectives.
Works closely with the Project Manager to ensure high levels of quality and delivery standards and compliance with HSE and regulatory requirements.
Monitors onsite architectural engineering work, estimations, plans, designs, layouts in alignment with project specifications and budget.
Works with Project Manager to resolve architectural and related civil and structural issues.
Organizes architectural documents and assist in the receipt and review contractor’s as-built drawings and submittals, validate design issues and suggest alternative solutions and field drawings to contractors / project teams at project sites.
Assists in the testing and commissioning of works and oversee the review and approval process for all architectural and design engineering activities and submittals on projects.
Fosters supportive working practices and encourages a culture of professional development and self improvement.
Ensures effective implementation of all applicable organizational policies & procedures in the department
Collaborates with the project management teams, to develop comprehensive and integrated developmental strategies

Qualifications
Minimum 10 years experience is a must.
Must be organised and detail oriented.
Must have good English skills.
Knowledge of relevant best practices
Knowledge of Environmental and Construction sector laws and regulatory requirements
Knowledge of value engineering practices, project development and master planning, schematic and detailed design and construction drawings
Knowledge of IT Softwares related to architectural design and construction i.e. AutoCad, , MS Office….
Must be organised and detail oriented.
Must have good English skills.
