Responsibilities
 The SOS care giver creates a family together with the children who grow up as brothers and sisters in an atmosphere of security and joy.
 He organises everyday family life in a structured way with the children's participation according to their age and abilities.
 He builds a stable relationship with each child, supporting his/her feeling of belonging, and ensures the holistic development and overall well-being of each child in her family.
 The SOS care giver identifies with the organisation values, vision, and mission and fulfils the organisation quality standards.
 He regularly reflects her own behavior and practice and leads her professional and personal growth.
 The SOS care giver reports directly to the centre manager. He receives ongoing guidance and support from him/her and participates in regular performance appraisals.
 The SOS care giver maintains and strengthens the child relationship with his/her biological family in the best interests of the child.
 He participates actively in the local community and interacts appropriately with external stakeholders in the best interest of the child.
 He creates a secure environment and a welcoming family home in which relationships are based on mutual respect. He accepts each child as he/she is and supports the child in coping with his/her life history including challenges like trauma and loss. He also takes actions to maintain and strengthen the child relationship with his/her biological family in the child best interest.
 The SOS care giver strengthens the child in his/her own cultural identity and promotes his/her spiritual and moral development. He ensures the necessary support for the child physical wellbeing and encourages the child to participate in play, spiritual and cultural practices as well as in sportive and recreational activities. He delegates responsibility to the child according to his/her maturity and supports the child in building and maintaining relationships in the community.


Qualifications
# Minimum 2 years work experience as a care giver
# School degree or other relevant education
# Knowledge working in an early childhood settings
# Flexible to meet the requirements of the children and program
# Enthusiastic to work with children from diverse cultures
# Ability to manage children s emotional, social and educational needs
# Strong knowledge of providing a safe environment for children
# Good computer skills.


Specific Vacancy Requirements
- minimum 1 year experience dealing with children / special need children is plus
- Work with shifts system (One week work with accommodation Followed by one week leave)
