Responsibilities
The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for ensuring successful completion of assigned audit engagements, from start to finish, inclusive of preplanning and wrap up activities. Depending on assigned engagement, reports to the Internal Audit Manager. Applies risk and control concepts to scenarios encountered and identifies any potential issues. Communicates identified issues to the Internal Audit manager to ensure any potential concerns are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications
Successful Candidates should have:
• University degree (Accounting/Banking). CIA, CFE is a plus.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Auditing or any relevant field.
• Supervisory skills including communication, time management, problem solving, team building and customer service skills.
• Good knowledge of organizations structure, pyramid structure and work procedures.
• Knowledge of audit alphabet, techniques, and introspecting, drawing samples for audit procedures theory as indicated in the Internal Audit Professional Standards.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate facts.
• Reporting skills, sufficient level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office) and good command of spoken and written English.
• Time management skills and multitasking.
• Completed or exempted from military service (for male candidates).
• The ability to work pressure and prepare to travel inside/ outside Syria.
• The applicant must be a resident of the governorate that will be employed
