Responsibilities
• Support in assessing the needs in the targeted community through field visits, data collection, data entry, data validation and note taking.
• Assist the officer and the PM in developing the trainings topics by reflecting the assessed needs through the conducted field visits.
• Participate partially or totally in all the project related activities like beneficiary registration, relief items distribution, collecting beneficiaries’ signatures upon the distribution, crowed management, file keeping and archiving.
• Adhere fully to Oxfam’s data protection policy and standards.
• Commitment to Oxfam Code of Conduct.
• Report any suspicious acts or incidents to the relevant department.
• Support site engineers in field visits as requested by line managers.
• Carry out any additional responsibility as required by the line manager.

1. Follow-up and Supervision:
• Evaluate the needs of the targeted community through Field visits, questionnaires, interviews, and focused discussion groups.
• Develop and coordinate the training program for all beneficiary groups within the targeted areas according to the project objectives, in addition to the execution period and the needs of the beneficiaries.
• Involve of the society in coordination with the Ministry through:
- Conducting training for the WASH follow-up committee in connection with its planned activities.
- Assigning facilitators from shelter centers, schools and communities targeted, who will be responsible for monitoring the implementation and evaluation of the planned activities.
- Conducting training for the facilitators.
• Design and plan the promotion of hygiene campaigns with the follow-up committee and training facilitators.
• Oversee the implementation of campaigns, according to what is planned.
• Prepare any relevant request based on the needs, and in consultation with the Field Volunteer Officer and the follow-up committee.
• Planning and monitoring progress in the awareness campaign.
• Oversee the distribution of the hygiene kits.
• Conduct follow-up and evaluation during and at the end of implementation of the required work.

1. Required Reports:
• Report on the evaluation visits.
• Report on the results of the questionnaires and their analysis.
• Progress Report, which includes:
- Training of the facilitators
- Awareness campaigns
• Distribution lists.
• Attendance lists in every stage of implementation.
• Follow-up and measuring impact report.
2. Documentation:
• Document and archive the hygiene promotion activities and share them with the Ministry, including:
a. Data entry
b. Archiving hard copies
c. Archiving electronic copies
d. Archiving pictures
3. Carry out any additional responsibility as required by the line manager
, in coordination with other departments when needed with clear line of authority


Qualifications
Basic Knowledge in humanitarian work or equal experience
• Basic Knowledge of EFSVL and Wash activities
• Good knowledge of Aleppo northern rural (area and context).
• Crowd Management skills
• Communication skills
• Team player and service-oriented
Competency in Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, mailing...) and a basic understanding of computer operations
