Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the MEAL Manager (Damascus) and in coordination with the MEAL Officer (Damascus), the selected candidate will:
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative data collection and data entry for education and WASH activities (i.e. FGDs, surveys, questionnaire, etc.);
• Maintain and keep updated project databases and beneficiaries’ lists:
• Monitor project’s activities in coordination with the Damascus Office, WW-GVC field staff, project partners, and local authorities;
• Coordinate with Education and WASH expert, and field engineers in conducting monitoring activities;
• Draft monitoring reports;
• Support the Damascus Office in conducting needs’ assessment and base-line/end-line studies;
• Conduct monitoring visits;
• Support the Damascus Office and the Aleppo Office in receiving and processing feedback and complaints from beneficiaries;
• Support the Damascus Office in conducting evaluation activities;
• Conduct any other monitoring and evaluation tasks required by the MEAL Manager.

Qualifications
• Educational Background: BA degree in Business and Management, Social Sciences, Economics, or any similar field.
• Experience: At least 2 years experience in the same or similar position. Previous experience in data collection, data entry, and/or data analysis is highly desirable.
• Languages: Proficient in Arabic and English.
• Personal qualities & soft skills:
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Very good knowledge of the MS office software, particularly Excel
- Data collection and management
• Experience: At least 2 years experience in the same or similar position. Previous experience in data collection, data entry, and/or data analysis is highly desirable.
• Languages: Proficient in Arabic and English.
